About the Role:
Salty Mike's is looking for a confident and professional Doorman/Bouncer to join our team! This is your chance to be the first face guests see and play a vital role in maintaining a safe, fun, and welcoming environment. If you thrive in a fast-paced nightlife setting and have a commanding yet approachable presence, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control entry points, checking IDs and verifying age compliance
• Enforce venue capacity limits and ensure adherence to local regulations
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff
• De-escalate conflicts and remove disruptive patrons when necessary
• Coordinate with bar staff and management to address security concerns
• Monitor crowd behavior on the floor and at the entrance throughout the night
• Communicate effectively with local law enforcement when required

Requirements:

• Prior experience in security, bouncing, or crowd control preferred
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a loud, high-energy environment
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor at all times
• SC Security license or willingness to obtain one is a plus
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
