Job Summary:
The Denver, Colorado area is seeking a Ultrasound Technician specialized in Echo (Ultrasonographer Echo) to perform diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound exams. This role involves executing high-frequency sound wave evaluations of internal organs and vessels under the supervision of a physician. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts during the week, including on-call rotation and Saturday coverage; 10 hours shift per week, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, Associates degree preferred, and Licenses: RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Reg Cardiac Sonographer).
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Additional Information: Performs a variety of Ultrasound procedures utilizing high-frequency sound waves to evaluate internal organs and vessels for disease diagnosis. Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, obtaining informed consent, reviewing patient history, selecting appropriate protocols, explaining procedures, positioning patients, assessing patient needs, completing diagnostic tests, evaluating image quality, and coordinating documentation for physician review. Also responsible for maintaining equipment reliability, ordering supplies, cleaning rooms and equipment, transporting patients, participating in quality initiatives, and promoting the organizations mission, vision, and values. Regular on-site attendance is required during scheduled shifts.
