Animal Eye Care is a well-established veterinary ophthalmology specialty practice Pleasanton and Fremont. We are in search of a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team!

We are offering a hourly rate of $33-35 based on experience, along with training/career growth potential and comprehensive benefits.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Thursday from 8:00 am - 6:30 pm. Work will primarily be performed at our Pleasanton location.

We are looking for a compassionate, motivated team player who has an interest in ophthalmology. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn and ready to expand on their veterinary careers!

• Are a registered veterinary technician with an active license looking to get into a specialty
• Have experience working with anesthesia

Your primary responsibilities:

• Performing or assisting with diagnostic testing (Schirmer Tear Testing, Tonometry, Ocular Ultrasounds, Electroretinogram testing, etc.)
• Participating in state-of-the-art surgeries including cataract surgery
• Assisting with ocular exams
• Client communication and education
• Anesthesia monitoring
