Job Title: Interview Clerk

Work Locations: 4 days a week at the Tallahassee location, 1 day a week at the Monticello location

Client: Dept of Child and Families - DCF - ACCESS - ESS

M-F, 8-5PM, 20 hr/wk

Work Environment: Job Duties

Answering phones, checking messages, returning calls, opening and disseminating mail, greeting and guiding visitors

Experience/Skills

* Explanation of eligibility of applicants and recipients for public assistance programs, determining eligibility for expedited food stamp services, * Entering client data into database based on intake of caller information * Maintaining necessary files and records * Completing general clerical duties to include using computer to input data for clients who are applying for public assistance benefits, answering the phone, using photocopy machine, scanner and other office machines.

• Must type 35 wpm
• Must be able to work at the Tallahassee office and one day in the Monticello office
• Must have good communication skills
• Must have customer service experience
• Must have computer skills

Required/Desired Skills

• Ability to speak and understand English Required (No experience needed)
• Experience working in a public-facing role Required (2 years)
• Experience as a front desk receptionist or at an information desk Required (0-1 year)
• Excellent data entry skills Required (0 years)
• Ability to type 35 words per minute (wpm) Required (0 years)

Compensation: $16.25 per hour
