Sub-Arc Welder Details: Temp-to-Hire position $ 25.00 / hour Full Time work available Weekend work required First Shift (Monday through Friday) Key Responsibilities: Perform submerged arc welding on structural steel beams, girders, and components Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and shop drawings Set up and operate Sub-Arc welding equipment safely and efficiently Inspect welds to ensure quality standards and specifications are met Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines Sub-Arc Welder Qualifications: Previous Sub-Arc welding experience required Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols Knowledge of structural steel fabrication processes preferred Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Willingness to work overtime as needed Work Environment Fabrication shop setting in Decatur, AL Physically active role requiring standing, lifting, and working with heavy materials Applicant may be subject to a background check Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.
