Safety Representatives – Pomegranate Season 2026

Full Steam Staffing is NOW HIRING Seasonal Safety Representatives in Del Rey, CA!

Join our team for Pomegranate Season 2026 . We are hiring Safety Representatives to help promote a safe work environment, support safety programs, and ensure employees are following company safety procedures throughout the busy pomegranate season. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking for seasonal work, overtime, and competitive pay.

Location: Del Rey, CA

Position: Safety Representative

Pay: $17.00–$19.00 per hour

Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift

Employment Type: Seasonal

Overtime: Required as needed

Weekends: Required

• Monitor work areas to identify potential safety hazards and unsafe conditions
• Conduct routine safety inspections throughout production, warehouse, and work areas
• Help ensure employees follow company safety policies and procedures
• Assist with new-hire safety orientations and training
• Communicate safety rules, procedures, and expectations to employees
• Provide reminders and coaching when unsafe practices are observed
• Report safety hazards, incidents, injuries, and near misses to management
• Assist with accident and incident documentation
• Help maintain safety records, reports, and inspection logs
• Ensure required personal protective equipment (PPE) is being used correctly
• Monitor proper use of equipment, machinery, and material-handling equipment
• Assist supervisors and management with safety-related concerns
• Help maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Participate in safety meetings and safety training activities
• Support emergency procedures and workplace safety programs
• Perform other safety and general labor duties as assigned

• Previous safety, warehouse, manufacturing, production, food processing, or general labor experience is preferred
• Previous safety representative or safety coordinator experience is a plus
• OSHA or other safety training/certification is preferred but not required
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety practices
• Ability to identify and report potential safety hazards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to confidently communicate safety rules and expectations to employees
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to complete safety reports and documentation accurately
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environmental conditions
