Job Post Summary

A manufacturing organization is seeking a Design Engineer to support the development and improvement of electromechanical products. This role is responsible for managing product design projects from concept through production, supporting testing and validation activities, providing technical guidance across departments, and ensuring product quality and production readiness. The ideal candidate will have experience in electromechanical design, 3D CAD modeling, laboratory testing, and cross-functional engineering collaboration.

Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage product design and development projects from concept through production release.

• Develop and improve existing and new electromechanical products.

• Coordinate product validation, testing, and production readiness activities.

• Review quality documentation including ISIRs, RMAs, CARs, MRRs, deviations, and PPAPs.

• Prepare detailed laboratory test plans and reports for testing activities.

• Support product testing, troubleshooting, and validation efforts.

• Provide technical support to manufacturing, quality, operations, and other internal departments.

• Assist customers with technical product support and issue resolution.

• Support manufacturing facilities with engineering and product-related requirements.

• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, and engineering documentation.

• Utilize laboratory equipment for product testing and evaluation.

• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and engineering procedures.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and timelines.

Qualifications and Certifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related Engineering discipline.

• 1-3 years of experience in product design or product development.

• Experience with electromechanical product design.

• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling software such as SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, CATIA, or similar.

• Experience using laboratory equipment including power supplies, meters, and environmental chambers.

• Knowledge of product validation, testing, and quality processes.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience with manufacturing and production support is preferred.
