We are seeking an experienced HVAC and Plumbing Preconstruction Project Manager to join our New Construction Team with at least 5 years of commercial experience as a new construction mechanical project manager. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and dedicated to delivering exceptional service, ensuring seamless project execution and client satisfaction. This position is essential to keep our business moving forward on all cylinders, and culture fit is critical. Responsibilities Ability to pass pre‑employment drugscreen & valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record Strong ability to engage customers, close sales, and manage projects from beginning to end. Mechanically inclined with problem‑solving skills Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment Advanced understanding of layout, design, fabrication, and installation of HVAC/R systems Ability to manage a project from development and stakeholder engagement through implementation and evaluation Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient with construction scheduling software Proficient with computers, phones, and other office equipment Demonstrate attention to detail Ability to maintain a positive attitude while under pressure Ability to work safely with hand and power tools Ability to safely use scissor/power lifts Ability to work at heights and on ladders Requirements Current or previous work experience in the Construction or Building Service industry providing full project management experience Service coordination or project management experience for a service contractor (preferably mechanical and plumbing) Ability to work independently without direct supervision Courage to make informed decisions without outside input Organizational and superior follow‑up skills Ability to handle a fast‑paced workload and work under pressure with last‑minute time constraints Ability to deal diplomatically and communicate effectively with internal and external customersAbility to handle a fast‑paced workload and work under pressure with last‑minute time constraints Benefits Free employee health insurance plan!
