Foreclosure Attorney

We are seeking a Foreclosure Attorney licensed in Florida to join a growing legal team supporting mortgage servicers, lenders, and investors throughout the foreclosure process. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for an attorney who enjoys managing cases from inception through resolution, developing litigation strategies, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients in the real estate and mortgage servicing industries. The successful candidate will handle a diverse portfolio of foreclosure, title, real estate, and creditor's rights matters while collaborating with clients and legal professionals to achieve successful outcomes. Candidates should be self-motivated, analytical, and comfortable managing a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Manage foreclosure matters from referral through final resolution, including trial preparation and litigation strategy. Handle pre-litigation matters and assist with resolving title issues affecting real property. Research legal issues and prepare analyses regarding claims, risk exposure, defenses, and case strategy. Draft, review, and argue pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents. Manage all phases of discovery, including written discovery, document review, depositions, and related motion practice. Develop and implement litigation strategies in partnership with supervising attorneys and clients. Communicate directly with clients regarding case developments, legal analysis, and strategic recommendations. Represent clients at hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and court proceedings conducted in-person, virtually, or by telephone. Maintain compliance with court deadlines, client requirements, and regulatory obligations. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case progression and exceptional client service. Manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining quality, accuracy, and responsiveness. Assist with special projects and other legal initiatives as needed. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active membership in the Florida Bar and in good standing. Experience handling foreclosure, real estate, mortgage servicing, creditor's rights, or related civil litigation matters preferred. Five or more years of foreclosure experience preferred; attorneys with a strong interest in foreclosure, real estate, or mortgage law are encouraged to apply. Strong written and oral advocacy skills. Excellent legal research, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to independently manage a large and complex caseload while prioritizing competing deadlines. Experience attending hearings, mediations, conferences, and court proceedings. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet-based legal tools. Must reside in Florida or within one of the firm's approved footprint states and be available to attend in-person hearings throughout Florida as required. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to client service. Preferred Qualifications Experience handling foreclosure litigation from inception through judgment, sale, and post-judgment proceedings. Knowledge of foreclosure law, real estate law, secured transactions, evictions, and creditor's rights. Experience representing lenders, mortgage servicers, investors, financial institutions, or creditors. Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume legal environment. Ability to identify legal risks and develop practical, business-focused solutions for clients. Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and ability to independently advance cases. Strong commitment to teamwork, professionalism, accountability, and continuous professional development.
