Gotham Enterprises Ltd is actively seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated outpatient psychiatry team in Henderson, Tennessee. In this role, you will be required to create an impactful difference in the lives of our patients by providing culturally sensitive mental health care while working in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility and convenience.

Our dynamic work setting is built on a foundation of collaboration and respect, predominantly structured for remote work while maintaining an outpatient facility presence in Henderson, TN. Our typical work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, though some flexibility may be necessary to meet patients' varying needs.   • Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ unique backgrounds and experiences, which will allow for tailored and effective treatment planning.

  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed to meet the individual needs of your patients, ensuring that considerations for their cultural and personal backgrounds are paramount.

  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing a variety of mental health concerns, helping patients cultivate resilience and overall well-being.

  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other medical professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for all patients, promoting a multidisciplinary approach.

  • Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies to ensure immediate support and safety for clients.

  • Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, empowering them by explaining treatment options and available community resources.

  • Maintain precise and confidential documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that patient privacy is always respected.

  • Engage in case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient progress and share insights, as well as participate in cultural competency training programs to enhance service delivery.

  • Stay updated with ongoing research in the field of mental health, best practices, and relevant cultural considerations to improve therapy outcomes.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

  • Possession of a current and valid license, such as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT, is crucial for this role.

  • Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and proven experience utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities while emphasizing cultural competence.

  • Demonstrable success in delivering both individual and group therapy, focusing on inclusive behavioral health practices.
  • \n
  • Strong skills in crisis intervention and an ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a profound capacity to build rapport with individuals from varied backgrounds.

  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications is necessary for effective documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience in a mental health counseling role is required, applicants with extensive experience working within culturally diverse populations are highly encouraged to apply. Additional certifications in trauma-informed care and familiarity with relevant therapy modalities will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
