Yard Driver1675 Northeast 64th Way, Des Moines, IA 50313, USA25-32 per hour Biweekly PayHourlyFull TimeWork Schedule M-F, Health, Dental, Vision, 401k with match, PTO, company Profit SharingSummary:The incumbent is responsible for organizing the yard, driving tanker trucks and trailers on and around the yard to maintain a steady workflow for mechanics, washing and/or detailing tank trucks, trailers, and lube vans (units); receiving, stocking, and preparing parts/parts kits to be used in the shop. The job holder is also responsible for maintaining the physical environment of the Des Moines Branch shop and performing grounds maintenance duties as needed. Medical Examiner's CertificatePhysical Demands:Must be able to physically perform medium work: exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, 20 lbs. of force frequently, and 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objectsVisual requirements include clarity of vision at a distance of more than 20 inches and less than 20 feet without correction, color vision, depth perception and field of visionMust be able to perform the following physical activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motionsSafety:Follow U.S. Department of Transportation (D.O.T) regulations regarding petroleum tanks, as well as the policies found in Seneca Tank's Safety Manual.Special Conditions of Employment:Upon receiving a conditional offer of employment, job candidates are required to pass a pre-employment physical and drug-screen.Willingness and ability to travel for occasional overnight stays.
