‍⚕️ Role Overview

As an L&D RN , you will play a vital role in supporting patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care . You'll work closely with physicians and care teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes for both mother and baby .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maternal and fetal assessments throughout labor
• Monitor fetal heart rates and contractions
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Provide labor support, education, and emotional care
• Collaborate with OB/GYNs, midwives, and neonatal teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
• Educate families on postpartum and newborn care

✅ Requirements

• Experience:
  • Previous L&D RN experience required
• Education:
  • ASN required | BSN preferred
• Licensure & Certifications:
  • Active RN License (Single State or Compact)
  • BLS (AHA) – Required
  • NRP – Required
• Preferred:
  • ACLS / PALS (as applicable)
