Mental Health Associate (MHA) PT Nights

Responsibilities Hampton Behavioral Health Center is a 120-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Westampton, New Jersey. We offer the most advanced behavioral health and diagnostic treatment services for adults, adolescents, and older adults in both inpatient and outpatient programs. The Mental Health Associate provides direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and Clinical/Nursing Administration. You will assist patients with activities of daily living, encourage appropriate behavior, intervene when needed, and prevent inappropriate behavior. Additionally, you will assemble and escort patients to meals, programs, court, clinics, and other designated activities, ensuring timely arrival. You will document and communicate patients’ progress with the treatment team, providing feedback on improvements and responses to the Nursing Care Plan. This role requires strong documentation, organization, and time management skills. You will meet with assigned patients daily. This is a part‑time position from 11 pm to 7 am, 3 days a week, 24 hours a week with rotating weekends. There is opportunity to cover various shifts and pickup overtime if interested. Psychiatric inpatient experience with adults, adolescents, and dual populations preferred. Must maintain CPR, First Aid, Verbal De‑escalation, and Handle With Care certifications, which will be provided by the hospital.
