Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary: This employee will work at the direction of the facilities manager. Generally daily work will consist of cleaning, repair or replacement of small items or preparation of areas for further maintenance. This employee will be working with staff members and vendors for maintenance or contract services.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCleaning, repairs and general maintenance of bathrooms and common areas throughout the facility including production and administrative areasAssist in maintaining production equipment and repairsPerforms other duties or special projects as requiredSelf-motivated and aware of OSHA and other safety related standardsEngage in training of personnel in safety and evacuation mattersHigh School diploma or equivalent, technical/trade trainingExercises knowledge with 3 years of experience in maintenance or vocational trade activityExcellent communication skillsFamiliarity to assist in performing maintenance functions when necessary including electric, plumbing, etc.Good general computer skills with Microsoft office, and able to learn other security and environmental software systemsInterpersonal skillsOrganizational skillsFamiliar with OSHA standards as well as safety and Haz Mat details #J-18808-Ljbffr
