Operating Room Radiology Technologist

Managed by United Surgical Partners International Joint Commission Accredited We are currently looking for an Operating Room X-Ray Technologist to join our Imaging team. This position will participate in an on-call rotation of 4-5 shifts per month. May be eligible for Sign-On Bonus. Job Summary: The OR X-Ray Radiology Technologist will be responsible for setting up sterile trays and assisting the radiologists during the following procedures: myelogram, arthrogram, aspiration and steroid injection exams. The technologist will also be responsible for emergent X-rays from the ED and the In-Patient areas and any walk in, routine X-rays ordered. The North Central Imaging department is a fast paced area and the technologist must be flexible to move between multiple exams, areas and be able to manage his/her time effective and communicate well while maintaining a positive attitude. #LI-EP1 Required Skills Must possess strong patient satisfaction skill set Must possess independent decision making skills Ability to prioritize and handle multiple patients Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and their family Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology AART Registered in Radiology Experience with the following equipment is desired: C-arm (large and mini), O-arm, Portable Digital Equipment.
