The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Duties Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments while ensuring proper cash handling procedures. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to enhance the shopping experience. Restock items as needed, clean tables, and keep the restaurant well‑organized. Provide product recommendations to promote sales and engage customers. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Uphold company policies and procedures regarding sales and customer interactions. Experience Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is advantageous. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products when appropriate. Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail.
