Systems Administrator

Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in cloud infrastructure and automation, is seeking a Systems Administrator to join their team. As a Systems Administrator, you will be part of the Azure Engineering Support team, supporting large-scale cloud environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Redmond, WA - Remote


Pay Range: $56.14 - $61.77 on Experis W2 (Benefits/ 401k/PTO)

• Systems Administration in Azure, 5+ years
• Containers, 7+ years
• Network Security, 7+ years

What's the Job?

• Manage and scale a large Azure VM environment, including day-to-day administration and platform optimization
• Develop and implement automation scripts to improve operational efficiency
• Perform system configuration management, OS installations, and security updates
• Monitor system health, verify hardware and network integrity, and troubleshoot issues
• Document infrastructure and automation processes for knowledge sharing and long-term planning

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 10+ years experience in systems or network administration
• Proven expertise in Azure portal administration, including scripting with BiCep and ARM templates
• Extensive experience with containers, Kubernetes clusters, and network security
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot hardware and network issues
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field
