Anesthesiologist Opportunity at Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo

Ascension Medical Group is seeking a full-time anesthesiologist for our group in Suburban Indianapolis. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

Join an established team of anesthesiologists and APPs

Call structure: Monday to Friday with a weekend and holiday call rotation Call Schedule: q5 -Call required, post call day off when fully staffed

Practice setting: Inpatient

Access to tenured and collegial team

Employed position within a nonprofit health system

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology

Eligible for Indiana state medical licensure and DEA registration

Drive quality and cost-effectiveness initiatives to continuously improve patient care outcomes.

Accept patient referrals from fellow physicians to support a collaborative network of care.

Serve as admitting, attending, or consulting physician for hospitalized patients based on clinical and facility needs.

Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo is a 117-bed short-term acute care hospital. Operating 24/7, it features a 24-hour emergency room, a Level III trauma-capable designation, and the only robotic surgery center in Howard County.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
