Schedule

Day shift: 4x10 hours (08:00 AM - 06:00 PM)

Job Description

The CT Tech will be responsible for performing both x-ray exams and CT scans on outpatients, ER patients, and inpatients, including basic CT scans to encompass angiography. This position requires the technician to be proficient in operating various imaging equipment and imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray and CT imaging according to established protocols and standards.
• Administer contrast media as needed for imaging procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain equipment and ensure cleanliness of work areas.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
• Participate in on-call rotation, including overnight call every 2-3 nights.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Tech.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Must have a valid state license (Compact license acceptable).
