Job Title Physical Therapist Location Georgia Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Days Key Responsibilities Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines. Design functional treatment programs that support patients in progressing toward discharge and returning to community activities within an established length of stay. Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals. Participate in student programs as assigned, providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations in a positive learning environment. Adhere to discipline-specific state practice acts and regulatory requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing and completing all state-mandated continuing education requirements. Required Qualifications Active and valid Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Georgia. Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop appropriate clinical treatment plans and goals. Proficiency in medical record documentation in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines. Commitment to patient and employee safety standards and workplace safety protocols. Adherence to professional codes of conduct and discipline-specific ethical standards. Preferred Experience / Skills Experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting. Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality improvement initiatives. Involvement in professional organizations or continuing education beyond minimum state requirements.
