As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security‑related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare setting. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, and help to support de‑escalation when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns. Monitor entrances, common areas, and authorized access points, and report observed issues, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel. Complete routine reports and communicate clearly with site contacts, staff, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and/or needed follow‑up. Minimum Requirements: A guard card and/or license is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
