Job Overview: As the Production Supervisor you will serve as the supervisor on the production floor during your shift. You will work directly with and carry out daily production responsibilities. Job Overview: As the Production Supervisor you will serve as the supervisor on the production floor during your shift. You will work directly with and carry out daily production responsibilities. This is a long-term opportunity with potential for advancement and overtime availability. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and see through the completion of production plans as directed by the Production Manager
- Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing facility
- Coordinate and delegate tasks to floor leads and employees, establishing goals and directing production activities
- Evaluate machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
- Ensure that workers and equipment meet performance and safety requirements, and schedule maintenance as needed
- Develop and implement workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality
- Offer support on the production floor for questions, concerns, or feedback
- Examine products or work to verify conformance to specifications
- Provide training to new production floor employees
- Assist with moving or lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
- Other duties as assigned
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- 2+ years of operations experience
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision
- Outcome-oriented with a strong performance-based culture
- Strong team player who is cooperative and collaborative
- Positive-minded and has a positive attitude
