Job Summary: Lead the daily warehouse and operational functions of the Manheim Parts Department while supporting sales, customer service, and team development. Assume day-to-day leadership of the department when the Parts Manager is unavailable. Key Roles: Leadership, Management, and Accountability (LMA) Warehouse Operations Inventory Control Sales & Gross Profit Team Development Essential Duties: Lead daily warehouse operations, including picking, staging, shipping, receiving, returns, deliveries, organization, and safety. Coach and hold the operations team accountable while building a strong, team-first culture. Lead the department and make routine operating decisions when the Parts Manager is unavailable. Work hands-on during high-volume periods and remove barriers affecting throughput and customer service. Oversee parts vehicles, equipment, delivery drivers, routes, and urgent deliveries. Maintain inventory accuracy through receiving, storage, cycle counts, returns, stock movement, and loss prevention. Build working knowledge of purchasing, orders, quotes, invoicing, warranty, returns, counter sales, and department procedures. Support customer needs, quotes, counter sales, follow-up, and sales opportunities. Sales staff will not report to this role. Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, sales staff, and UKTS departments. Use technology to improve accuracy, throughput, customer service, and profit. Train team members, develop future leaders, and prepare for greater responsibility. Reinforce company safety standards, policies, and procedures. Perform other duties assigned by the Parts Manager. Proficient in using computers, Microsoft Office, email, and other common software. Comfortable using common hand tools. Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Three to five years of related parts, warehouse, operations, or sales experience preferred. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Physical Environment: Moderate to high noise and moderate to heavy physical exertion. Must occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and be able to stand, walk, and drive. Valid driver license required. Work includes office, showroom, warehouse, and outdoor storage areas.
