Job Summary

Pittsburgh, PA | Sewickley

Start Date: August 24th or open to later start date for the perfect fit
Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:30am until anytime between 4:30 - 5:30 PM; guaranteed 100 hours every 4 weeks, typically averaging 25-28 hours a week
Hourly Rate: $27-32
Children: 7, 5 and 4 year-old
Pets: 1 dog

Paid Vacation:

• 1 week family choice
• 1 week nanny choice
• 3 sick and 3 personal days
• All bank observed holidays

Requirements: Up-to-date vaccinations

Responsibilities and Duties

WHO/WHAT:  Three girls. Five afternoons. One beautifully busy family looking for the teammate who can keep it all moving. This warm, welcoming Sewickley family is entering a brand-new season of life. For the first time, all three daughters are in school, and while that means fewer daytime childcare responsibilities, it also means their afternoons have become a carefully choreographed dance of school pickups, activities, homework, and family life. They're looking for someone who thrives in that rhythm and genuinely enjoys helping busy families breathe a little easier. Both parents have demanding professional careers, but family always comes first. Their home is filled with laughter, encouragement, and a healthy dose of adventure. On any given weekend, you'll likely find them hiking a trail, exploring a new park, traveling somewhere fun, or cheering from the sidelines of ballet, tennis, gymnastics, swimming, or piano. They believe childhood should include muddy shoes, fresh air, scraped knees, and plenty of imagination, and they're hoping to find someone who feels exactly the same way.

This fall, you'll pick up their youngest from preschool at 11:30 am. During her rest/quiet time, you’ll tackle the household side of the role. Children's and parents' laundry, light dinner prep, vacuuming, sweeping, and helping maintain an organized home will make up much of the first part of your day. Then it's time to trade the laundry basket for the car keys as you pick up their two older girls from school (just about a mile from home) and shuttle them to their afternoon activities. The family will provide 3 car seats that can fit three in a row in a car. These three girls keep life wonderfully full. They're the kind of sisters who can spend the afternoon conquering the playground, putting on an impromptu performance in the living room, or creating an elaborate make-believe game that somehow everyone gets recruited into. If you love saying "yes" to childhood adventures, you'll fit right in. Summers offer even more opportunities for adventure with flexible schedules, spontaneous outings, and afternoons by the pool. The girls are comfortable swimmers, but you'll simply need to feel confident supervising children around the water.

This family isn't looking for a short-term solution—they're hoping to welcome someone for the next three years or longer. Hours are likely to decrease to 20 hours guaranteed next fall when all three kids are in school full-time. Requirements and Benefits

• Nanny must have a driver's license, vehicle, and a clean driving record

• Nanny MUST have previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.
