ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a hands‑on, client‑focused Director of Client Services to build and lead a team of Account Managers and Sales Assistants who own the end‑to‑end client experience: from campaign kickoff through reporting and renewals. This is a high‑impact, build‑and‑scale role. You’ll partner closely with Sales, help shape how we deliver campaigns, and turn strong execution into long‑term client growth. The right person is just as comfortable jumping into a client call or fixing a report as they are building processes and leading a team. RESPONSIBILITIES Build & Lead the Client Services Function Manage and coach a team of Account Managers and Sales Assistants Define roles, workflows, and best practices across pre‑sale support, kickoff, execution, and reporting Set the standard for what “great” client service looks like Own the Client Experience, ensuring a seamless experience from sale to kickoff to execution to wrap report Act as a senior point of contact for key clients and step in on important calls or escalations Raise the bar on communication, responsiveness, and overall client satisfaction Oversee all campaigns to ensure they’re on track, on time, and hitting goals Identify gaps early and jump in to problem‑solve when needed Create structure around kickoff, asset collection, and delivery so nothing slips Work side‑by‑side with AEs/Sales Management on pre‑sale support (pitch input, packaging feedback, feasibility) Ensure clean handoffs from Sales to Client Services Help translate campaign performance into renewals and upsell opportunities Set the standard for campaign reporting and client recaps Ensure insights are clear, actionable, and tied to client goals Continuously improve how we tell the story of campaign performance WHAT YOU WILL NEED 8+ years of experience in media, advertising, or client services/account management 2-4+ years managing a team (or ready to step into a leadership role) Comfortable being both strategic and hands‑on; able to build processes and execute them Strong client presence; confident leading calls, presenting results, and handling tough conversations Highly organized and able to bring structure to a fast‑moving, sometimes ambiguous environment Deep understanding of campaign lifecycle (pre‑sale through post‑sale reporting) Analytical enough to turn data into insights, not just reports WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE DIFFERENT You’re not inheriting a fully built machine, you’re building and scaling it High visibility with a real impact on revenue and retention Opportunity to shape team structure, process, and client experience from the ground up WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Account Managers are clear on roles, executing well, and growing quickly Campaigns run smoothly with strong organization and minimal fire drills Clients feel informed, supported, and excited to renew Reporting is sharp, insightful, and helps drive future business Strong trust and alignment between Client Services and Sales EMPLOYMENT AND BENEFITS We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $128,000.00‑170,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
