Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiology CCU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of cardiac critical care experience and an active GA or Compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a Cardiology CCU (Cardiac Care Unit) at an acute care hospital in Atlanta, GA
• Night shift position with 12-hour shifts
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac critical care experience required
• BLS required (implied by unit acuity and standard practice)

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• Former permanent staff of this health system must be separated for at least 1 year before returning; if returning to the same facility, a minimum 18-month separation is required
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per contract; if RTO falls on or near a holiday, the maximum is reduced to 3 days
• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract, and RTO during the holiday period must be spread out and not taken on consecutive days
