Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialty in Labor and Delivery to join our team for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12 hours (7 PM - 7 AM)
• Weekends: Required every other weekend
• Call: Not required
• Floating: As needed within scope

Job Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Monitoring patient progress and vital signs throughout the labor process.
• Assisting with deliveries and ensuring the safety of both mother and child.
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educating patients and families regarding labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

Qualifications

• Certifications Required: BLS, NRP
• Years of Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year in Labor and Delivery
• First Time Travelers: Accepted
• Locals: Not allowed
• Radius Restriction: 50 miles
