Job Description
We are hiring a Quality Technician to join a manufacturing team producing insulated panels. This position will be responsible for inspecting finished and in-process products to ensure they meet required quality standards and specifications.
Candidates should have previous quality inspection or quality control experience in a manufacturing environment. Training will be provided on the specific products, processes, and quality standards used at the facility.
Responsibilities
Perform quality inspections on insulated panels throughout the manufacturing process
Inspect products for proper dimensions, workmanship, and overall quality
Accurately use tape measures, calipers, and micrometers to verify measurements
Identify defects, inconsistencies, or products that fall outside specifications
Document inspection results and communicate quality concerns to production
Follow established quality procedures and safety standards
Learn product-specific inspection requirements through hands-on training
Qualifications
Previous Quality Technician, Quality Inspector, or Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
Ability to accurately read measurements and verify specifications
Strong attention to detail
Comfortable working in a production/manufacturing environment
Dependable attendance and willingness to learn new processes
Schedule
Rotating 1st and 2nd shifts
Must be flexible and able to work both shifts as required by the rotation
