What You’ll Do * Drive consistent execution of Interstates safety programs, policies, and procedures across all assigned projects * Partner closely with Operations leaders to build safety into planning, scheduling, and field execution * Set clear expectations and help teams stay accountable for safety performance and compliance * Lead serious incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions * Track and report safety metrics, trends, and leading indicators to drive improvement * Visit jobsites regularly to observe work, identify risk, and reinforce expectations * Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and client-specific safety requirements * Allocate safety resources based on project risk, complexity, and staffing needs * Support preconstruction and project planning to identify and reduce risk early

• Lead or support internal and external safety audits
• Share lessons learned and best practices to strengthen continuous

improvement

• Partner on fleet safety and workplace security initiatives
• Support Automation, Design Services, OTIS (Operational Technology

Infrastructure & Security), and M&S (Maintenance & Support) teams What You Bring * Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, or a related field, plus 5+ years of related experience

• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and electrical safety requirements
• Proven success leading safety execution in active construction environments
• Experience providing hands-on leadership as part of a field team
• Strong communication skills with craft personnel, supervisors, clients, and

subcontractors

• Support project startups, turnarounds, and other high-risk work activities
• Ability to obtain client-required safety certifications and site-specific

qualifications * Ability to prioritize competing demands and stay effective in a fast-moving environment Preferred Qualifications

• BCSP certification
• OSHA Authorized Instructor Course #500 for Construction

Compensation: $95,000–$110,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications, with bonus opportunities, a vehicle allowance, and a comprehensive benefits package. Location This role can be based in our Omaha, NE; Sioux Center, IA; or Sioux Falls, SD office. Travel Travel will vary based on geo-market needs.
