This role is responsible for overseeing outpatient pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, providing patient-centered medication counseling, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support high-quality patient care. The Pharmacist will play a key role in medication safety, pharmacy leadership, and clinical service delivery. Responsibilities\n \n Oversee daily outpatient pharmacy operations and workflow. \n Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations. \n Manage medication dispensing, storage, recordkeeping, and inventory controls. \n Provide patient counseling on medication use, adherence, side effects, and drug interactions. \n Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy. \n Supervise pharmacy technicians, support staff, and student interns as applicable. \n Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic health record (EHR). \n Participate in quality improvement initiatives and medication safety programs. \n Monitor pharmacy performance metrics and compliance standards. \n Serve as a resource for medication-related questions and clinical recommendations. \n Qualifications\n \n Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy. \n Minimum of 3-5 years of pharmacy experience preferred. \n Active Utah Pharmacist license in good standing, or ability to obtain prior to start. \n Previous leadership or Pharmacist-in-Charge experience preferred. \n Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, medication management, and patient safety practices. \n Excellent communication and collaboration skills. \n Ideal Candidate\n The ideal candidate is a motivated pharmacist who enjoys working in a collaborative healthcare environment, values patient-centered care, and possesses strong clinical and operational pharmacy skills.
