S&OP Analyst

Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc., a leader in American firearms manufacturing, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven S&OP Analyst to support and augment the company’s Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. This role will directly support the S&OP Manager, with responsibilities spanning detailed demand/supply data management, KPI reporting, cross-functional coordination, and facilitation of elements of the S&OP cycle.Key Responsibilities:Manage SKU-level demand and supply data within Oracle ERP and Excel tools.Develop KPI reports (forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, etc.).Support BI implementation (PowerBI in the future).Prepare inputs for monthly S&OP cycle and coordinate across factories.Funnel insights through the S&OP Manager and support executive reports.Moderate selected meetings and ensure timely alignment across teams.Serve as backup presenter for S&OP meetings when required.Recommend improvements to forecasting, reporting, and data integrity.Consistent demonstration of Ruger’s expected behaviors.All other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field, or additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, or S&OP roles.Preferred Skills:Strong Oracle ERP and advanced Excel skills.BI experience (PowerBI preferred).Forecasting, inventory management, and capacity planning knowledge.Certifications (APICS CPIM/CSCP) preferred but not required.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Comfortable with SKU-level detail and large datasets.Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screen.Why Join Us:High visibility role supporting strategic business planning.Career path toward future S&OP leadership opportunities.Competitive pay, benefits, and professional development. #J-18808-Ljbffr
