Your Responsibilities

• Interpret a wide variety of nuclear medicine studies, including PET/CT, SPECT/CT, cardiac imaging, and general radiology examinations.

• Oversee and consult with technologists, protocol imaging studies, review pre-procedure laboratory results, and engage in multidisciplinary tumor boards.

• Ensure timely and clear clinical documentation.

• Participate in quality management, peer reviews, and the education of residents and technologists.

• Work collaboratively within a fully digital Radiology department that handles approximately 129,000 studies each year.

Academic appointments at the University of Arizona (Assistant/Associate Professor) are available and encouraged!

What We Are Looking For

• MD or DO from the U.S. with completion of an accredited Radiology residency.

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology or the American Board of Nuclear Medicine.

• Extensive experience in nuclear medicine studies and therapies (including PET/CT, SPECT/CT, nuclear stress tests), or a recent fellowship in Nuclear Medicine.

• Preferred ability to interpret radiographs and body imaging, as well as perform fluoroscopic examinations.

• A strong commitment to resident and fellow education.

• Eligibility for employment with the U.S. federal government.
