Give us a call opt 1 Job Details: Shift: 12H Nights Total Weekly Hours: 36 Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Trauma Level: Facility Specific Job Notes: Required Skills / Certifications / Experience: - Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years required - Traveler Experience: Unit will not accept 1st-time travelers - Skills: Vents, IV Start, Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Interpretation and Management of Dysrhythmias, Blood Product Administration, Central Line Care/Management, Continuous IV Sedation, CVA/Acute Stroke Management, External Ventricular Drains (EVD), ICP Monitoring, Post Neurosurgery Management, Care of Ventilated Patient, Isolation Precautions/Use of PPE, Lumbar Drain Experience - Strong neuro experience: must be 2 years, no less - Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH Preferred Skills / Certifications / Experience: - Skills: Arterial Line Management Qualifications: - COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required - Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only) - NC or Compact License: Pending OK for submittal Charting System Experience: - Required: Epic Submission Details: - Former Novant/New Hanover Employees: Must wait 12 months before applying; disclosure required - Local Candidates (within 50 miles): Lower rate applies - Must work 2 of 3 major holidays - Travelers must be open to floating within/near the facility as per job description Candidates must be able to float, have strong neuro critical care background (not just general ICU), and must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty.
