Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Travel OR Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong operating room experience and demonstrate expertise in trauma, robotic, and orthopedic surgical procedures while providing exceptional perioperative patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care throughout surgical procedures.
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with infection prevention standards.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures.
• Monitor patient safety and advocate for optimal surgical outcomes.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and surgical events accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• Active California RN License required.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Current NIHSS Certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience .
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required.
• Experience in:
  • Trauma Surgery
  • Robotic Surgery
  • Orthopedic Surgery
• Skills checklist required with submission.
