First Assistant Golf Professional

Currahee Club, located in Toccoa, GA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time First Assistant Golf Professional! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Supervises and manages total golf operations in a professional and efficient manner 

• Provides excellent customer service, professional advice, and assistance to all patrons

• Controls and manages play; ensures guest check-in and fee collection

• Manages the tee sheet

• Provides golf instruction and clinics that are consistent with instructional methods, policies, and procedures

• Assists in the purchasing, receipt, display, inventory, control, promotion, and sales of merchandise

• Conducts oneself in a professional manner consistent with PGA standards

• Remains informed on and promotes all club activities and services
