We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician - Family Medicine in Franklin, VA .

Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift: Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday, 8:00 AM 2:00 PM
Start Date: 09/21/2026
End Date: 12/18/2026

Position Details:

Patient Population: Adults (51%), Geriatrics (48%), Pediatrics (1% - Age 16+)
Setting: Outpatient Primary Care Clinic

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive outpatient family medicine care
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Perform preventive care and routine office procedures
Manage patient follow-up and continuity of care

Required Procedures:

Pap smears
Diabetic foot exams
General outpatient primary care procedures

EMR System: Epic

Support Staff: Not Specified

Days Per Month: Part-time (Monday-Wednesday schedule)

On-Call/Weekends: None

Submission Requirements:

Board Certified in Family Medicine
Active Virginia License (or able to obtain before 09/21/2026)
ACLS Certification
BLS Certification
DEA Required
