Machine Builder Technician

Machine Builder TechnicianExpress Employment Professionals is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Builder Technician to join a company in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, testing, and troubleshooting custom automated equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, enjoys hands-on work, and can perform effectively in a fast-paced team environment.ResponsibilitiesAssemble automated machinery, equipment, and mechanical subassemblies using blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics.Install and connect pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical components.Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and controls personnel to ensure machines meet design and performance requirements.Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform adjustments, alignments, and repairs as needed.Participate in machine testing, startup procedures, and system debugging.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.Assist with equipment installation, setup, and commissioning at customer locations when required.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Technical certification or associate degree in a related field is a plus.Minimum of five years of experience building industrial machinery, automation equipment, packaging systems, or similar mechanical equipment.Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in assembly, installation, and troubleshooting.Working knowledge of pneumatic systems and mechanical components.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, mechanical prints, and pneumatic schematics.Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Experience working with robotic systems or motion-control equipment.Familiarity with CAD software, including Inventor and Vault, or experience with similar design platforms.
