IT Technical Support Analyst

NC State University is hiring an IT Technical Support Analyst. The role involves delivering advanced IT desktop support, resolving complex technical issues, supporting enterprise endpoint management, and assisting with technology projects and Audio/Visual support for the College of Veterinary Medicine's faculty, staff, and students. Highlights Provide advanced hands-on and remote technical support for Windows and Mac OS devices, printers, mobile devices, and specialized peripherals. Serve as escalation point for Tier 1 support staff and student IT workers. Utilize enterprise management tools including SCCM, Jamf, Active Directory, Group Policy, and ServiceNow. Troubleshoot networking and telephony issues, including VoIP deployments and infrastructure-related problems. Assist with Audio/Visual system setup, maintenance, and support in classrooms and event areas. Participate in technology deployment projects, hardware refresh initiatives, and office moves. Required education: Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of relevant IT experience or equivalent combination. Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows and Mac OS environments; experience with SCCM and Jamf preferred. Preferred skills include Linux support, endpoint management platforms like Intune, Active Directory, Group Policy, and experience with classroom technology and video conferencing.
