Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a hospital-based radiology unit requiring 3+ years of MRI experience and ARRT certification.
Details
- Hospital-based regional referral center radiology/MRI unit
- 12-hour day shifts with a 36-hour guaranteed week
- Schedule includes Wed 6:00am-6:30pm, Thur 10:30am-11:00pm, Fri 7:30am-8:00pm
- Weekend coverage required for part of shift or holidays as needed
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- 3+ years of current MRI experience in a hospital setting required
- Active ARRT certification required
- Active AHA BLS certification required
- NH Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License required (temporary license available with quick turnaround); license required if applicable
- Compact license not accepted for this position
- Must have own vehicle for this assignment
Additional Information
- Perform MRI procedures including patient positioning, technique selection, equipment calibration, and image acquisition
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data while ensuring data integrity and compliance with protocol
- Perform daily calibration checks on equipment
- Work under the direction of the MRI Supervisor and Director of Radiology
- Equipment includes Siemens C-arms, Siemens Agile fluoro/DR room, Fuji DR, and Philips and GE rooms with Fuji Computed Radiography
- Dress code requires hospital blue scrubs or business casual with lab coat, closed-toe shoes, and hair pulled back if longer than shoulder length; no hooded sweatshirts or dangling earrings
- Must work two holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and the following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend
- No more than 5 days of RTO accepted, and all RTO requests must be submitted at the time of profile upload
- Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered for this position
