Details Inpatient rehab setting within a Level 2 trauma facility Unit includes PT, OT, and Speech disciplines Patient volume varies by area: up to 9 per day for outpatient, up to 13 per day for inpatient, and varies for rehab Patient population includes ortho, post-surgical, neuro, trauma, cardiac, and medsurg cases; excludes NICU, pediatrics, PICU, ER, and ICU Uses Cerner Powerchart for charting Supported by 2 rehab aides/OTAs who assist with patient care 8-hour day shifts, typically Tuesday-Saturday, though schedule may vary (e.g. Wed-Sun or Thu-Mon) based on need May be assigned to outpatient, inpatient, or both areas depending on facility need Required to float to other areas as needed within assigned scope Weekend requirements vary and will be specified per assignment Holiday coverage is not required Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience required; candidates with strong inpatient clinical experience may be considered without a full year Active PT state license required for the state of submission (license required if applicable) Current BLS certification required Travel experience preferred Trauma experience preferred Active, non-pending certifications required for consideration Additional Information Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients across assigned inpatient, outpatient, or rehab areas 1.5 days of department-specific orientation provided, including Cerner training as needed Uniform requirements include a maroon polo shirt, dark-colored pants, and closed-toed shoes; lab coat optional Facility has 24/7 pharmacy access First-time travelers may be considered based on clinical experience Candidates must not have been directly employed by any CommonSpirit-associated facility (including CHI and Dignity) within the past year; PRN employment through outside firms is acceptable Local candidates may be accepted depending on facility rate structure Some states may require candidates to live a minimum distance from the facility to qualify for travel rates American Traveler Job ID #P-747153.
