Overview

CTG is seeking to fill a Complex Program Manager position for our client.

 

Location: Dallas, TX – Onsite
Duration: 12 months

 

Duties:

• Lead complex, transformative programs across multiple business units, geographies, technologies, and cross-functional teams.

• Define program vision, objectives, success criteria, governance, milestones, and delivery strategies aligned with business and customer goals.

• Manage interconnected projects and project managers to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, schedules, budgets, quality standards, and contractual commitments.

• Oversee end-to-end program delivery, coordinating project teams, technical teams, partners, customers, sponsors, and stakeholders.

• Establish and maintain program governance, master schedules, performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, issues, dependencies, and uncertainties.

• Manage program budgets, forecasting, cost optimization, scope, change control, and overall financial performance.

• Provide executive-level program updates, performance reporting, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations.

• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and drive effective communication, collaboration, and customer satisfaction.

• Lead innovation, digital transformation, sustainability, and organizational change initiatives.

• Analyze data and program performance to identify trends, anticipate outcomes, and support strategic decision-making.

• Assemble and lead end-to-end teams, providing direction, coaching, and support to project managers and technical teams.

• Influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts while balancing competing priorities, resources, costs, schedules, and business requirements.

Experience:

• 10+ years of project and program management experience in complex, large-scale environments, including programs with up to $100M in total contract value and distributed teams of 50–200+ FTE.

• Experience working for an enterprise software/SaaS provider or technology consulting/services organization.

• Proven success managing complex IT programs and projects across multiple industries and customer environments.

• Experience managing project interdependencies, master schedules, staffing strategies, risks, and program-level trade-offs.

• Demonstrated ability to manage programs to strategic objectives, scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer expectations.

• Experience establishing program governance and management systems and overseeing contractual and regulatory requirements.

• Experience with cost management, scope management, change control, and program governance.

• Experience presenting program plans, status, risks, KPIs, and recommendations to senior and executive leadership.

• Experience managing vendor relationships and contracts.

• PMP certification required; PgMP certification required or willingness to obtain within 12 months.

• Ability to influence, negotiate, motivate, and resolve conflicts across all organizational levels.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

• PgMP certification preferred or commitment to obtain within 12 months.

• PRINCE2 certification preferred.
