Senior Systems Engineer (Reliability & Health)

Salary: $164,900 - 223,100 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited program.
• We require at least 9 years of related experience, or an equivalent mix of technical education and professional experience.
• We require experience in reliability, maintainability, and safety engineering within aerospace, manufacturing, or a related industry.
• We require familiarity with reliability, maintainability, testability, and safety standards.
• We require strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• We require the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and balance competing priorities.
• We require an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
• We require compliance with U.S. export control rules, so a U.S. Person is required.
• We require successful completion of our Conflict of Interest assessment process.

• We analyze system requirements and build an RM&SH engineering program plan to meet reliability, maintainability, and safety objectives.
• We allocate and forecast failure rates for components and systems, then measure performance against program targets.
• We develop Reliability Block Diagrams to model component relationships and assess overall system reliability.
• We perform Failure Mode and Effect Analysis to identify risks, reduce failure exposure, and support design changes.
• We evaluate fault detection and fault isolation metrics to understand availability impacts.
• We partner with design teams and advise designers and management so safety and reliability goals are achieved.
• We oversee testing and demonstrations at supplier, plant, or field sites to assess reliability and maintainability risks.
• We run closed-loop Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action processes to identify root causes, failure trends, and improvement opportunities.
• We ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and our safety policies.
• We work directly with our RM&SH engineering capability to meet our requirements for people, processes, and tools.
• We may travel up to 10% of the time, domestically and/or internationally, depending on business needs.
