This role works closely with DataEngineers, who ingest and orchestrate data, and Business Intelligence Analystswho focuson data output to the business. The Analytics Engineer is heavily involved inbuildingthecuratedmiddle layer. Deep experience with Azure Databricks, SQL, and data modeling,along with an understanding of how data is consumed, is key to success in this role.We do not accept resume submissions from third-party recruiters or staffing agencies.Please contact our recruiting team directly.JOB DUTIESDesign, build, and maintain curated, business-ready data models in AzureDatabricks, transforming raw and staged data into reliable analytical datasets.Develop and enforce data modeling standards, including dimensional models,naming conventions, and business logic definitions, so metrics are consistentacross the firm.Partner with Data Engineers on ingestion and pipeline requirements, and withBusiness Intelligence Analysts and stakeholders to understand how data isconsumed.Define the strategy and standards for semantic models, and build and optimizethem alongside Business Intelligence Analysts.Implement data quality checks, testing, and monitoring to ensure accuracy,consistency, and completeness. Investigate and resolve data discrepancies,working with Data Engineers on upstream causes.Apply software engineering best practices, including version control, code review,CI/CD, and environment management, to analytics code and transformations.Create and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, lineage, andmetric definitions, so data is understandable to both people and AI tools.Optimize query and transformation performance, and manage processingefficiency and cost in Databricks.Identify opportunities to automate manual data preparation and improve dataworkflows across the firm.Support data governance and security practices, including appropriate handling ofsensitive client and firm data.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCEFinance, or a related field.4+ years of experience inanalytics engineering, data engineering,businessintelligence,or a similar role, preferably in wealth management, financial services,or a related industry.Advanced SQL skills, including complex transformations, performance tuning, anddata modeling.Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and large-scale data transformation.Experience with dimensional modeling and building curated data layers foranalytics.Strong knowledge of Power BI, including semantic model design and DAX, and howmodeling choices affect reporting.Experience with Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, and other cloud-based data toolsin the Azure ecosystem.Experience with version control (such as Git) and collaborative developmentpractices.Strong communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical partners and explain data concepts clearly.Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to teamwork and excellence.Motivated and results oriented.Available to work outside of normal business hours when required.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCEExperience with Delta Lake and medallion architecture.Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Azure DevOps or GitHub.Experience with data testing and observability frameworks.Familiarity with wealth management data domains such as portfolio, custodial,CRM, and financial planning data.JKX++?]q+]q+?9/?9?9/2399}01\#".'&54>3232>7667#".54>3276632\&"\32>7 2U|U>3%\ &8JKX++?]+?99/99//01\#".#"\\#".'&54>3232654.54>32\~ %/$
