Maintenance TechnicianPayrate $30-$35/hr, Scheduled hours 6:30am - 3:30pm, Monday thru FridaySummary Of RoleThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance, and overhaul work on all shop equipment. Position will read and interpret electronic schematics and identify components to manage projects.Duties And ResponsibilitiesMust be highly mechanically inclined and have a strong ability to use basic hand toolsPerform insert changeovers for productionPerform preventive maintenance as per instruction and assigned intervalsInspect equipment for defects and plan for solutions to prevent downtimeGeneral housekeeping around the shop and maintain safe work environmentMaintain cleanliness, safety and functionality of components, tools and equipmentMaintain electronic/electromechanical equipment to ensure it is in optimal running conditionWork independent with strong technical knowledge leading team for proactive planning and maintenanceEffective communication skills both verbally and writtenResponsible for following all internal and OSHA required safety proceduresOther responsibilities as assignedMinimum Requirements And QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalency requiredTechnical degree or certificate a plusStrong knowledge of plastic processing and troubleshootingBasic math skills.
