Now Hiring: School Psychologist – Columbia, PA

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a supportive school district in Columbia, Pennsylvania (17512) for the 2026-2027 school year . This is a full-time, onsite opportunity serving a K-4 elementary caseload within a single elementary building supporting approximately 500 students .

Position Details

  • Location: Columbia, PA 17512
  • School Year: 2026-2027
  • Schedule: Full-time
  • Hours: 7:45 AM – 3:20 PM
  • Setting: Onsite
  • Caseload: Kindergarten through 4th Grade (K-4)
  • School Sites: 1 elementary building
  • Student Population: Approximately 500 students

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for students in grades K-4.
  • Administer, score, and interpret psychological and educational assessments.
  • Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports and communicate findings to multidisciplinary teams.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to develop appropriate student supports.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and problem-solving discussions.
  • Provide consultation related to students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
  • Support a collaborative school environment focused on student growth and success.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Education requirements and federal special education regulations.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must possess:

  • Appropriate Pennsylvania certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Current Pennsylvania clearances, including required background checks.
  • Strong skills in assessment, consultation, collaboration, and student support services.
  • A commitment to working collaboratively with staff, families, and students to promote positive educational outcomes.
  • Previous school-based experience preferred.
