About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience required. License: Must hold a valid nursing license. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Must-Have: - Experience with telemetry patients. - EPIC charting experience. - BSN preferred. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Progressive Care Unit. The role involves caring for patients with neurological and surgical needs. Daily census is approximately 30 patients. The unit has a total of 34 beds. Patients may have diagnoses including stroke, seizures, and neuromuscular disorders. Patient care includes management of head, neck, back trauma, and elective surgeries. There is interdisciplinary support available, including therapies and pharmacy. Candidates may float within their scope based on unit needs. Experience with charge responsibilities is preferred. Candidates should be prepared to follow facility-specific policies and procedures. Modules will be assigned during orientation and must be completed on time.
