About the Role:
Source Care Group Co is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. In this rewarding role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing personalized care and support. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately
- Transport and accompany clients to appointments, community activities, and outings
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions per established protocols
- Foster independence and skill development through positive reinforcement and encouragement
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, or human services preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and person-centered approach
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
