Direct Support Professional (PRN) Part-time (per diem) with competitive hourly rates: $18.50/hour, $21.20/hour with MAP certification. Job Description The Direct Support Professional is responsible for the safety and supervision of consumers with intellectual developmental disabilities and behavioral health histories. This role coordinates with clinical staff, implements residentially based interventions, and assists individuals in achieving their goals. The DSP will prompt or assist clients to participate in activities of daily living both at home and in the community, and will promote healthy and socially acceptable behaviors. Responsibilities Provide supervision of individuals in accordance with the person‑centered ISP and support goal outcomes. Complete required documentation. Possess or obtain a MAP certificate to administer and dispense medication safely. Provide transportation to consumers. Support consumers in activities of daily living: meal prep, toileting, hygiene, and related tasks. Assist with community integration activities and access to community supports including medical appointments and social security. Complete other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by supervisor. Requirements High School diploma or GED (required); associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred. Must provide proof of education. Basic computer and internet literacy with ability to use applications such as email, time recording, and other data entry programs. Prior experience in the human services field preferred. Valid driver’s license preferred. Subject to employment screenings, including FBI clearance if applicable.
