Financial Coach/Customer Success Manager

Overview Financial Coach (Behavioral Finance Focus) – Client Success Manager Electri FI Wealth, LLC | Remote | Part-Time (10–30 hrs/week) with potential path to Full-Time Electri FI Wealth is hiring a Financial Coach to work directly with high-income clients who want to eliminate debt, master their cash flow, and begin investing. Our clients are typically six-figure earners who don’t have good financial literacy and struggle with the behavioral side of money — overspending, financial avoidance, anxiety around investing, and difficulty changing long-standing habits. This role combines personal finance education, behavioral coaching, and client success management. You will guide clients through structured financial systems while helping them follow through on the actions required to build real wealth. This is not a financial advising or product sales role. We provide financial education and coaching that empowers clients to make informed decisions about their money, not advice. This role is primarily 1:1 Zoom calls with clients. You should love people, and want to be in back-to-back meetings for most of your day. We teach clients how to: take control of their cash flow eliminate consumer debt stop relying on credit cards build consistent investing habits Our coaching combines clear financial strategy with behavioral finance coaching to help clients create lasting change. Who We're Looking For We’re looking for a financial professional who also has strong coaching skills. Our clients often feel overwhelmed, anxious, or embarrassed about their finances. The right candidate can meet clients with empathy while guiding them toward practical financial action. You should be comfortable discussing cash flow strategy, debt payoff, and investing basics while also helping clients navigate the emotional barriers that prevent financial progress. Successful candidates typically combine: strong personal finance knowledge behavioral coaching skills accountability and client support experience You should be equally comfortable working with numbers and people. Responsibilities Financial Coaching – Guide clients through structured financial systems focused on: cash flow management debt payoff strategies financial organization investing basics and wealth-building principles Help clients translate financial strategy into clear next steps and measurable progress. Behavioral Finance Coaching – Help clients navigate the emotional side of money, including: financial anxiety and avoidance shame or embarrassment around debt resistance to behavior change difficulty following through on financial plans Use coaching techniques to help clients move from awareness to action while maintaining accountability. Client Success Management – Maintain strong client relationships throughout their coaching journey by: leading structured 1:1 coaching calls monitoring client progress and financial milestones documenting coaching notes and updates in ClickUp proactively supporting clients between sessions when needed follow up on missed payments upsell clients into ongoing coaching programs Program Improvement & Team Collaboration – Work closely with leadership to: improve client coaching frameworks identify common client challenges help refine systems that increase client success and retention Minimum Qualifications Candidates must meet at least one of the following: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC) candidate or certified Certified Financial Education Instructor (CFEI) Financial Planner or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) candidate or professional 3+ years experience coaching or counseling clients on personal finance topics Professional experience in banking, financial planning, wealth management, or financial education Bachelors degree Required Financial Knowledge Candidates must be comfortable coaching high income clients on: cash flow and spending analysis (training provided on our specific systems) credit card and consumer debt payoff strategies emergency funds and financial safety nets retirement investing basics (401k, IRA, index funds) behavioral patterns affecting financial decisions Coaching & Behavioral Skills Successful candidates will have experience helping clients navigate the psychology of money, including: anxiety around spending, saving, or investing avoidance of financial decisions shame around debt or financial mistakes resistance to behavior change You should be skilled at asking thoughtful questions, identifying patterns, and helping clients translate insight into practical financial action. Experience with coaching frameworks such as motivational interviewing, accountability coaching, or behavioral goal-setting is a strong plus. Additional Skills Communication – Ability to clearly explain financial concepts in a simple, relatable way. Organization – Strong ability to track client progress, maintain coaching notes, and manage multiple client relationships. Technology – Comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools (ClickUp experience preferred). Growth Mindset – Interest in improving coaching systems, client outcomes, and program effectiveness. Bonus Qualifications experience in behavioral finance or money psychology experience working with high-income professionals or entrepreneurs knowledge of U.S. personal finance systems (401k, IRA, credit, etc.) knowledge of Canadian personal financial system (TFSA, RRSP, OAS, etc.) Position Details Remote role Part-time to start: 10–20 hours per week. Opportunity to transition into full-time as the client base grows. Candidates should be available during U.S. business hours with flexibility for: evening calls 1 day per week 2–3 Saturdays per month to accommodate working professionals Compensation $30–$35 per hour depending on experience Performance bonuses tied to client retention and engagement Opportunity for expanded hours as client demand grows Important Note This role requires both financial expertise and strong emotional intelligence.
