Do you like using data to diagnose faster? Are you comfortable switching from electrical troubleshooting to hydraulic repair on the fly? Do you enjoy mentoring newer techs while keeping customers up and running? If you answered yes, you’ll feel at home at EquipmentShare.

Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Overtime paid after 40 hours. Includes periodic on-call with added compensation.

Your Impact

• Use laptops/tablets and our T3 platform to open/assign work orders, track service intervals, pull fault data, and order parts efficiently.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer-owned heavy equipment and aerial lifts.
• Document each job thoroughly and on time — every day.
• Model safe work practices on every task; OSHA knowledge preferred.
• Assist with equipment and parts pick-up/delivery when needed.
• Support the development of lower-level technicians through hands-on training.
• As a Field Mechanic, travel to jobsites and maintain a neat, professional service vehicle.
• Stay current with year-round, company-provided OEM training.

What You Bring

• Your own tools suitable for the position
• Pro-level mechanical aptitude and tool proficiency
• Expertise with construction equipment and the ability to interpret schematics/diagrams
• Top-tier customer service, teamwork, and communication

Education & Experience

• High school diploma (required); trade school certificate (preferred)
• Experience in field service, maintenance, or repair (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable record; 21+ to drive a company vehicle

Physical Demands

• Move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Clean-shaven may be required for entry to certain customer worksites
• This is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen
